Paradise Home is a Public Charitable trust which was started in 1991 with the special purpose to train the mentally challenged children and make them self-sufficient so that they can in-turn lead an independent and normal life in the society.

In Chennai, there are many institutions that take care of mentally challenged children until they reach an age of 15 years and send them back to their parents/guardians, thus rendering their future uncertain and directionless. To address this problem we have set our goal to take care of the children throughout their life. We admit children, irrespective of caste, creed and financial status.
We made a humble beginning with just a couple of children housing in a rented building at Madipakkam in the outskirts of Chennai. Now we are proud of our growth and for reaching out to more than 75 children. The campus that is currently home to all of us, has been constructed recently and has all modern amenities and facilities. This has been possible with the help of many well-wishers and philanthropists
